About us

My relationship with cycling goes far beyond the professional world — it is a way of life.

Long before the term “gravel” even existed, I was already riding cyclocross bikes fitted with mountain bike groupsets, exploring roads without labels.

Years later, I embarked on a two-year bicycle journey from Istanbul to Cambodia, on a touring bike loaded with stories, solitude, and challenges.

That journey taught me that cycling is not only a way to cross countries, but also a way to cross inner borders.

After this adventure, I spent five years as Editor-in-Chief of the Turkish edition of Cyclist UK, fully immersed in the world of road cycling — testing bikes, meeting riders, and refining my understanding of what makes a bicycle truly special.

For nearly ten years, I then led the Turkish branch of Giant Bicycles, gaining invaluable insight from thousands of riders and their expectations.

But cycling, for me, has never been only about equipment — it is also about culture.

In Turkey, I translated and published some of the most iconic books of cycling literature through my own publishing house, including works by Tim Krabbé, Paul Fournel, Christian Lax and Richard Moore.

Because a bicycle is not only something you ride — it is something you dream about.

All of these experiences naturally led me to Sault, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, where I founded Ride Ventoux and Vélo Sault.

Under my own brand Energi, I design, paint, assemble and build custom titanium and carbon bicycles.

Each frame is carefully prepared and painted here in France, in Sault, before being assembled into a complete bicycle.

No stock bikes. No compromises.

Only bespoke creations built around the rider — body geometry, riding style and personal ambitions.

Every year I travel to Eurobike to remain closely connected to innovation.

And each winter I visit manufacturers in Asia to work directly on the development of future models.

Because I truly believe that the right bicycle is more than a technical object —

it is an intimate experience between rider, machine, and landscape.

At Ride Ventoux and Vélo Sault, every bicycle is unique.

Designed for you.

Created with you.
